It's been a while since I've written in my blog. I have signed up for summer classes. Hopefully I'll get to work 20 hours per week here in NSS. Grades are not yet in, so I'm waiting patiently for that.
It's raining again. Hard to believe it's almost June. I've been thinking about how many more semesters I'll be here before I graduate. I think it will take me 3 semesters. I should schedule another meeting with my advisor so I can know for sure.
The end of a semester is a tiny milestone. I did it. I'm ok. Next week summer classes will begin. Wish me luck.
Posted by elsie at May 28, 2003 02:21 PMCongratulations on finishing the semester and your first school year at UMass! It's always a relief to know that you did it, and see that all your hard work paid off.
It IS hard to belive that it is June already (well in a few more days). Normally I wear shorts all through may until september. This year I've found myself mostly sticking to jeans. Hopefully it will get hot soon so it will be possiable to do all those summer things such as going to the beach, swimming, etc.
Summer classes should be fun for you. Me I'm stuck working 60 or something hours a week for june. Good luck on your classes and good luck getting more hours to work.

Elsie: Good job in completing your first year here. It was a lot of stressful and difficult work, but you made it.
Posted by: Elliott at May 29, 2003 10:09 AMThank you so much. I sortof have tunnel vision when it comes to completing my degree. Can you believe it's been almost one year now since we met in Software Support that fateful summer?
