Trick or Treat
It's that time of year again! I'm going trick or treating this evening with my daughter, the princess, and Matthew, a.k.a. superman. I hope we get lots of candy.

Girl Power
I left the tv on in the living room. I can hear the audience chatting "Jerry Jerry Jerry..." Of course it's the Jerry Springer Show. You can count on there being some violence, obscenity and/or nudity on the show. Where do they find these people? I swear I didn't put this show on - I was watching the Sharon Osborne Show, but it's over now.
I saw a really good movie yesterday on the Independent Film Channel. It was called Girl Fight and it was about a female ameteur boxer. The woman and men were allowed to box each other. The men felt quite threatened and said that they did not want to hit a girl. But the truth was, they were afraid of loosing to a girl. It was also a love story. After the movie, I was like, yeah girls kick ass!

Stronger
They say that what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger. I disagree. It can just wear you down until you are very weak. People will do that to you, negative people, toxic people. Here's my message to toxic people: I'm not gonna take any more crap from you.
P.S. It's really hard to stay mad when you are listening to Dave Matthews.

Voices
I took my first midterm for Compsci 311. It sucked. I'm sure I did poorly. A first exam is a good indicator of where you are at in the course. I'm gonna have to work harder in order to pass this class.
I asked myself, "could I be loosing my mind?"
A little voice replied, "no, of course not."
It was then I realized that everything would be okay.
