Strange Dream

I dream about elevators. All kinds of elevators - too small, too fast, too many floors, the cable is not strong enough, I don't know where it's going, it won't go anywhere, it won't stop... so many dreams.

Last night, I drempt that I got in an elevator at the 26th floor. I wanted to go all the way to the first floor. I wanted to leave. I pushed the button and the elevator began to move.

The elevator was deep, about 15 feet. It was narrow, about 3 feet wide at the back. I felt trapped. Instead of moving straight down, it went in a spiral motion like some kind of roller coaster. I was almost pinned to the wall.

When the elevator approached the 1st floor, I was afraid it would hit the ground too hard and break. It landed safely, but I noticed many broken things on the ground. There were little figurines and small nick-nacks there.

The dream continued. At one point I was in a cafeteria. I was in a mall. I ended up at the cosmetic counter of a department store. This is when I woke up.

Strange dream...

Why???

Why is it that only one entry shows on the main page? I don't know, but I'm going to investigate the main template. There should be some clues in there!

Stylesheets

This stylesheet that I'm using today is called 'Rusty'. It is one of the default stylesheets available from Movabletype. I had been experimenting with the stylesheet, trying to get something more personalized. I had gone astray; the site was starting to look like a circus. So, I'm back with the default for now. I'll change it soon enough if I get inspired.

Happy New Year!

Welcome, 2004! This will be my last year at UMass. I have so many college credits. It's a shame I can't use them all towards my degree, but most of the classes I took for my associates degree don't transfer. When I'm finished here, I'll have spent 5 semesters total at UMass. With a little luck, I'll begin my career in 2005.
