I don't know how the counting crows play this song, but I couldn't find the chords online so I tried to figure it out for myself. This sounds about right... Another version plays an A instead of an Am, and in the chorus an Em instead of an Am. They both sound good to me, but this version here was my very first try at it.

I had to laugh at my mom. She was listening to Gloria Estefan and crying. The cd player was in my kitchen, playing her greatest hits. When I walked into the kitchen, I understood. Gloria has an amazing voice. She sings like an angel. This is what I heard...
I, get a little tongue twisted
Every time I talk to you
When I see you
And I'm so glad that you just missed it
The way I stared to memorize your face.
To kiss you in my mind
Love you all the time
Chorus
Cause when I close my eyes
I still can see your smile
It's bright enough to light my life
Out of my darkest hour
Please believe it's true
When I tell you I love you
Tell me if I made the wrong advances
Tell me if I've made you feel ashamed
Cause I know I have to do this
Would you hold my hand right through it
Chorus
Cause when I close my eyes
I still can see your smile
It's bright enough to light my life
Out of my darkest hour
Please believe it's true
When I tell you I love you
I had to let you know
Just what would happen
Yes, i have to let you know the truth
I know I've got to do this
Would you hold my hand right through it
Would you
Repeat Chorus
I know now this is true
When I tell you I love you.
The Independant Film Channel is cool. It presents many foreign films. I love listening to the french language. I just finished my fourth semester of french at the university as a requirement for my major.
I don't understand most of the french in the movies, but it sounds so nice. When I understand the words, I think of the spelling. It's quite stimulating. I wish I could speak it fluently, but that takes a lot of practice.
This morning I walked Emily to the bus stop. Four year-old Naomi (she's so cute) was there. She wanted me to stay and talk after Emily's bus left. I kissed her and told her I had to go to an appointment.
"I have to run," I said.
"Run!" she replied.
I told her it was just a figure of speach and I walked back to my apartment, smiling.
