Allergy Season

Today is a beautiful day. The sun is shining. All over campus people are walking around wearing short sleaved shirts, no jackets. For the past few days it has been rainy and windy. What a nice change! I hope this means spring is finally coming. Unfortunately, it is also allergy season.

Mm... Yuck!

I made coffee today. I broke the carafe while washing it, so I have it pouring into my oversized coffee mug. The thing is, I usually make a pot of coffee. So I didn' t quite measure it right. I was thinking, mmm... coffee. But when I tasted it - yuck! Time for a new coffee maker. I really like the commercial that says it can make coffee in 60 seconds, which is just enough time for something. haha

Mr. Kitty

I just adopted an interactive virtual pet from cyber pets. I call him Mr. Kitty. Look! When you put the mouse over the kitty, it paws at the cursor! I'd love to make something like that. So cool! How many years of studying computer science and programming and I have yet to make something so neat! I'd love to work with flash animation. It always impresses me.

Please! Not another virus!

I got home this morning and found that McAfee had deleted some spyware and a trojan virus. I am not sure where it came from. I downloaded a keyword search program yesterday, and I was thinking maybe it wasn't such a good idea. Maybe this free 30 day trial version could install something I don't want on my machine.

Oh, man! There are so many anti-spyware programs to choose from. There's just too much spyware going around. You can run spyware removal program after program and they will each pick up different spywares, depending on the definitions they have. Leaving your machine unprotected is not an option. I'm sure spyware was invented just to create this market for anti-spyware programs.

In any case, I'll be getting my Mac soon and I won't have these virus problems any more.

The keyword is...

I've been thinking about making some money. Ever since I've added
Google Adsense to this page, I've been wondering how to maximize my profits. There are some websites that promise to teach you how to make a ton of money if you purchase their helpful hints. Keywords are very important. It's like this, you mention the right words, the higher paying ads show up and then you're rolling in dough! That would be so great. First thing I'd do is pay off my student credit card and my car loan.

:)

that's awesome at t cellular phone this is money!!!! I should so sign up for adsense now. :-) virus you should post about how you kept on getting a virus on your computer home equity loans so... here's the thing baines and ernst I have no idea sounds like a law firm financial services and debt management student credit card and student credit cards are pretty good trans union google yahoo paris hilton ebay britney spears mapquest halloween costumes yahoo.com 89.com lindsay lohan

Dick and Jane

I did the laundry today. I mopped the floors. The apartment smells like lavander. All this cleaning is so mundane. It reminds me of a sign I saw yesterday at Louis and Clark.

On the sign was a cartoon Jane. It read:

See Jane.
See Jane wash...
and wash...
and wash...
See Jane sigh.

Where's Dick? Is Dick around? I'd like to see Dick wash once in a while.

Sigh.

My friend

I'm making the switch. I'm gonna say goodbye to Windows. My Mac Mini is on it's way.

Someone asked me, "why don't you just switch to linux?"

The answer is, I want that little baby mac. It is soo cute!

I can explain the emotional rollercoaster that I've been on. That always happens right before my friend comes to visit.

:) :( :D :\ :/ ;) :*( : |

I used protection...

...but my computer got a virus anyway. McAfee was able to delete the file 00000a54.js which was found in my Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\aqmz0pqt.default\Cache\472C28BEd01 directory. It was detected as a JS/Nezew. It's gone for now.

Snow Day

Yesterday, the weather was mild, about 50 degrees. This morning wasn't that bad either. Then I heard the campus might close early because we are expecting a lot of snow. Well, we got the snow. The campus, however, will not be closing early.

Campus Closing

I'm not a sellout. I just want an ipod mini. Look how fashionable they are: iPod Minis

Choices

Today my professor posed a question in class about random variables. He asked if two of them were independent. He wanted so see a show of hands to get our opinions. We had three options, and they were:

1) I'm too afraid to voice my opinion
2) Not independent
3) Independent

On a different subject, what is the deal with spam comments? I have Google Adsense on my blog, so that advertisers can use the space and I get pennies a day for it. But

Some advertisement people don't want to pay for the space. Their stupid programs clog up my comments with advertisements - for FREE! If a site wants to advertise on elsiesdomain it has to PAY like everyone else! This means WAR...

>We're In The Money

lyrics by Al Dubin
music by Harry Warren
from the film Gold Diggers of 1933

We're in the money, we're in the money;
We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!
We're in the money, that sky is sunny,
Old Man Depression you are through, you done us wrong.

We never see a headline about breadlines today.
And when we see the landlord we can look that guy right in the eye

We're in the money, come on, my honey,
Let's lend it, spend it, send it rolling along!

Oh, yes we're in the money, you bet we're in the money,
We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!
Let's go we're in the money, Look up the skies are sunny,
Old Man Depression you are through, you done us wrong.

We never see a headline about breadlines today.
And when we see the landlord we can look that guy right in the eye

We're in the money, come on, my honey,
Let's lend it, spend it, send it rolling along!
