My back is killing me from slouching in front of this computer all day. It would help if the display was actually at EYE LEVEL!!! My cube is moving and I might take the opportunity to request a flat panel display. I hope you are having a good day!
One important aspect of accepting personal responsibility is letting go of your sense of over responsibility for others.
Feelings of over-responsibility include the feeling that others in your life will never be able to fully take care of themselves and that you are "responsible'' for them no matter what.
I'm working on this one.
Giving directions to a seeing eye dog! Is that really funny? You decide!
i swear that time is speeding up.. .
moving forward like a truck without
it's brakes.. deep inside it makes me feel
uneasy..but i can't stop the world..
the weeks are just like days...
the years go by in the blink...
of an eye.. .
i drive in my old car..
up and down the highway like a.. .
robot on four wheels..
you know sometimes it feels...
like i'm just sitting still..
and the world is passing by.. .at
80 million miles an hour.
every time i turn around.. a year has passed me by.
if only we could stop it for a while...
it all goes by so fast...
now.. becomes the past...
it all goes by so fast...
and we're never..
never going back.
i look into the future..
trying to plan my time...
maybe this year i won't make the same mistakes..
but you know sometimes it makes.. me feel uneasy...
a little sick.. and queasy...
when i think of all the time that's already gone...
every time i turn around.. a year has passed me by.
if only we could stop it for a while...
it all goes by so fast...
now.. becomes the past...
it all goes by so fast...
and we're never..
never going back.

STRANGLERS Lyrics » Something Better Change
Don't you like the way I move when you see me?
Don't you like the things that I say?
Don't you like the way I seem to enjoy it?
When you shout things but I don't care
Something's happening and it's happening right now
You're too blind to see it
Something's happening and it's happening right now
Ain't got time to wait
I said something better change
I said something better change
I said something better change
I said something better change
Don't you like the way I dance?
Does it bug you?
Don't you like the cut of my clothes?
Don't you like the way I seem to enjoy it?
Stick my fingers right up your nose
Change!
I went to the bookstore yesterday. It was pretty cool. I like books. I didn't buy any, though. I want the SQL Server 2005 Administrator's Pocket Guide, but then I guess they are cheaper online. Aris said that Stephen Hawking's latest book is supposed to be very good.
Providence Place is a huge mall. The only thing I don't like, and they are not small things, is paying for parking, and the 7.5% sales tax. I bought 5 bottles of hand soap as an impulse purchase at Bath and Body because they were 5 for $15. Anyone need hand soap?
We had a great time at the carnival on Saturday... and I have the bruises to prove it! Emily and I went on the Scrambler, and as much as she tried not to slide over to my side of the seat, she kept bumping in to me! And hard! My hip is killing me. It was fun, though.
Maggots in the bathtub
Maggots in the sink
Maggots taking dilly
Plink
Plink splat swish splash crack zoom whirl
Yikes!
In the garbage can
In the commode
Before the tv reruns
After the dddroode
Maggots on the razor
Maggots in the soup
Sitting the front porch
All along the stoop
Squishy squishy little baby bug
Go home to your mother
Squirmy squiggly wormy thing
Ew... Gross.
Don't eat my trash
I meant to throw away
But slept a bit too late
On garbage day
